Smart Keyboard Pro is a pretty useful keyboard for Android 1.5+. It does not include an option to simple move your finger over the characters to predict words (as SlideIT Keyboard) but it includes plenty of different and very useful options. From all keyboards I've tested this is the one I liked most (and use). It includes of course prediction of words, a great dictionary, allowing you to add your own terms. It also has an option (unmarked by default) to "read" your writing while you write and see what words you use the most, to add them to the first options of the predictions, that includes even words outside the dictionary.
It also includes a calibration system to let you manually calibrate the keyboard according to the way your device's screen regocnizes the way you touch it. This will help a lot to prevent it from adding the wrong character to your word.
Includes T9, voice-support, lots of languages support and also the option to manually set the size of the keys according to the way you prefer it and your screen size. Of course it also has quite a variety of skins to make it look better and more accurate to your launcher's skin.
I really recommend this one, but of course if it's as useful for you as it is for me, it will depend on your device and the way you write.
